Have you ever been bold enough to ask God, like Moses did, to show me your glory? I mean what is this thing that Moses was desiring? As fascinating as the request was, even more amazing is that God honored his request and showed him, but only to a degree. What an amazing request by Moses to see God in his splendor. The blood is the way to the glory. There is an interesting conversation Moses has with God in Exodus 33. Jesus is worthy to receive glory because He was slain and He redeemed us by His blood. Revelation 5:12-13 (KJV)Īll glory belongs to Jesus. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Through the shed blood of Christ we now have access to God’s glory, His manifest presence in our lives. When He did, the Bible says that they veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom, demonstrating that God was honoring His Son’s sacrifice and the way is opened for man to enter God’s presence and experience His glory. Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice to God on behalf of mankind. That glory can be revealed and manifested in our lives. However, since Christ has shed His blood for our sins, the pathway is opened to the glory of God. It keeps us from experiencing God’s glory. They point out that first blood is shed for sin, then God’s glory is revealed. These scriptures show us God’s divine order of doing things, how God has established a divine pattern. And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices and the glory of the Lord filled the house. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh Hebrews 10:19-20 (KJV)įorasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: I Peter 1:18-19 (KJV)
